Treasurer’s Report:
KKKCPA still awaiting signatures of two Trustees.
Applications to West Kintyre Community Windfarm Trust were successful. LOAF has received £5000 and KKKCPA £6095. Future applications will be made by KKKCPA on a joint basis.
Chairperson’s Report
Application to Mickel Trust unsuccessful on this occasion due to large number of applicants, but a repeat application will be made when it reopens, since not refused on principle.
Application to Fern/Cour Windfarm Trust managed by Foundation Scotland requires more information, still outstanding bios for LOAF Trustees.
£30,000 applied for in first year for removal of ivy and consolidation of stones.
No reply form D Rennie re lease/licence. Suggested D Rennie added to meeting invitees.
Survey
GL’s short survey was agreed. Requires an end date, 3 months maximum, also named person for return and info, agreed GL
Needs to be spread widely, website, Facebook, Keeping it Local screens, local hotels & caravan sites, schools, colleges, and library.
Medieval Kintyre website to be used. RC suggested heading Kintyre’s Forgotten Heritage. VN & GL to take forward.
Update from K Pytasz:
Grant application to HLT for emergency work submitted, main grant application to HLT can’t go ahead until KP receives evidence of Council cooperation in form of lease/licence and public backing, survey results, attendance at public meeting.
Spreadsheeet to cover all grant applications to be updated fortnightly to be forwarded.
KP identified three further sources of funding.

Public Meeting Agreed 29th July 2024
MMcD to extend invitations to representatives of HES, HLF, Pilgrim Trust, Local Councillors, Council officials, Kintyre Antiquarians.
Town Hall to be booked VN.
MMcD to acquire projector.
Format of meeting to be decided at next month’s meeting.
RC indicated that original thoughts for parking at Kilchenzie were problematical as two other landownders involved. Suggested that a footpath was required from the village carpark. JA to investigate.
