Welcome: V Nimmo welcomed everyone to the meeting.

Treasurer’s Report
Insurance quote for £99.50 paid. If balance exceeds £75,000, insurance company to be informed.
£60 paid for website host.
Bank balance £23627.96, of that only £852.96 is unallocated funds.
Hire of room for last month’s meeting £22, paid by EMcT. This is classed as a donation. Thanks were extended to Elizabeth.
Chairperson’s report
Heads of Terms making progress. A few issues raised by David Allan of A&BC, which he needs to discuss with Tom Murphy and Susan Mair.
KP noted that HES has also a few comments.
Killean – Heras fencing at Killean has been erected at rear of church.
Kilchenzie – The 8×4 plywood board is still in place. Speakers at the Symposium will require access to view Kilchenzie graveslabs so the board needs to be removed before Friday. MMcD to action.
Symposium
Venue – Glen Scotia Distillery, 5th September 9.00am-4.00pm
Arrangements made as follows:-
Friday 4th September – Chairs to be collected from Victoria Hall. Tables from Glenbarr.
Glen Scotia providing distillery tours from 2-4pm.
MMcD providing dinner for speakers on Friday and Saturday, also breakfast baskets.
VN to check availability of linen and towels, and check in time at Machrihanish Holiday Park, also check that Courier would be in attendance.
Saturday 5th September – Distillery open 8.30am.
AB providing AB&C banner, Glen Scotia also providing 2 banners, while thanks to a donation, Medieval Kintyre will have their own.
Anne Stewart Knitwear will have a stall at lunchtime.
KP will have a slide presentation over lunchtime.
EMcT providing sandwiches and sausage rolls, Tesco and Coop, fruit and nibbles. Others to bring sandwiches and biscuits. MMcD bringing paper plates, cups, milk and sugar.
Event is free, but there will be a donation box.
