Welcome: M McDonald welcomed everyone to the meeting, and particularly the Council Officers. It was agreed that on such a big project, it was important that we work together.

Treasurer’s Report
Still waiting for the outstanding award money from HES and HLF, approximately £14,500 from HES and £1,500 from HLF.

Chairperson’s report
MMcD in contact with Victoria Maxwell-MacDonald, whose family own the Largie Vault, requesting information on who might be buried there and if some have been interred elsewhere.
Update from Council
TM had contacted A&B Communications Team , who were happy with the Press Release with a few additions. Now waiting approval from HES and HLF before distribution. KP to forward it to them.
DR intimated that he was leaving his role with the Council in June. Antonia Baird would provisionally be our contact.
VN inquired about the Council’s Aspiring Places project. DR indicated that it was a pilot project at present, a showcase space for projects around Argyll & Bute. Useful for, when funds become available but with a short time span for applications, specific projects could be identified.
Update from Krystyna Pytasz
KP suggested that we approach Professor Peter Burman to become a Patron of our project. He is a British Architectural Historian, who has been involved in work at, St George’s Chapel, Windsor, Westminster Abbey and York Minister. Such a patron would enhance our national profile.

VN to distribute
Action Plan
VN had spoken with Youth Action Group requesting that they do the voice-over for the video by Jason McC of the removal of the graveslabs at Kilkivan.
Jason McC also happy to do drone video of the three sites. Cost £45/hour.
VN/EMcT to approach Antiquarians for funding.
KP to make a list of smaller projects within the big project which would make it easier to apply for local windfarm funds.

RC advised that a local walking group had spent some time outside Kilchenzie Churchyard last week but unable to get in. Access will be a priority at our site meeting next week.
Visit to 3 sites – Tuesday 11th March – meet at Killean at 10.30am
Meeting with Kathleen O’Neill of CHARTS on Friday 14th March at 2.00pm by Teams/Zoom. It was agreed to ask Jan Nimmo to come along, if available.
